For our Retail programs at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, Westin Hapuna Beach Resort, or the Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii, customers may book directly on this website via our reservations page.

Star Gaze Hawaii offers private session stargazing for families and groups.

We offer two programs for you to sell. Please call us for pricing:

  1. One hour of Stargazing for families up to 6 people:
    1. We bring one telescope and one Astronomer.
    2. A printed star chart will be provided for each person with a red LED chart light.
    3. We do a guided tour of the sky showing as many objects as time will allow. A running narrative will be given with explanations of what is being observed.  The narrative will be tailored to your group’s level and depth.
  2. Two hours of Stargazing for groups up to 15 people.
    1. We bring one telescope with one Astronomer for two hours of stargazing.
    2. A printed star chart with red LED chart light is provided for each person.
    3. We do a guided tour of the sky showing as many objects as time will allow. A running narrative will be given with explanations of what is being observed.  The narrative will be tailored to your group’s level and depth.

To make a reservation, please contact me with the following information:

  1. Date of Event
  2. Name of Party
  3. Number of people attending
  4. Venue at your Resort/Hotel (we require a darkened site for stargazing free of trees)
    1. Our telescope is about 400 pounds of equipment transported via hand cart. We need to avoid stairs for access.  Call me for more information or to discuss the venue.
  5. Desired start time

We extend commissions to your hotel or resort.  We have negotiated these rates via annual contract in advance for most major properties in the Waikoloa Resort area.  We accept payment via your Hotel accounting department.  We also accept direct credit card payment from the guest and will send a commission check after the charge has cleared.
